Ingredients:-
Chicken 1/2 kg
Onions 2
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
Red chilly powder 2tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Pepper 7-8nos
Green cardamom 2
Black cardamom 1
Cinnamon 1/2' pc
Cloves 2
Mace 1 small pc
Bay leaves 2
Tomato puree 1/2 cup
Salt as per taste
Oil 2tbsp
Green chillies 2
Method:-
Mix ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Keep aside.
Heat oil in a frying pan and saute 1 chopped onion with whole spices till onion is golden in colour and spices release flavour. Let it cool and make a fine paste.
In the same pan take 2 tbsp oil,add chopped oil, bay leaves and ginger-garlic paste,saute until they are fried approx 5-7 minutes. Add tomato puree.Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Then mix in onion and spice paste.Cook till oil leaves the sides of the pan.
Add chicken and water and cook till chicken is cooked and gravy thickens.
