Hot Dog Sandwich


 This is one more quick Sandwich to prepare. It hardly takes time. When i was pregnant with my 2nd child i used to crave for hot dog sandwich from Eppco petro pump Dubai. On my way back from office husband used to buy it for me. This is my version of hot dog sandwich.

Ingredients:

Chicken sausages 4
Hot dog bun 4
Hot and chilly Sauce (maggie)
Mustard Sauce
Chopped onions
Lettuce
Mayonnaise

Method:-

Fry chicken sausages for 4-5 minutes as they are pre-cooked.

Toast the bun on both the sides.

Spread Mayonnaise and chilli sauce on each side of the bun.

Spread lettuce and chopped onions.

Place hot dog on the lettuce and onions.

Spread mustard sauce.

Close the bun and eat it...

Isn't it simple :)

Simple Paneer Grilled Sandwich


I am starting this year with a simple paneer grilled sandwich.Paneer is rich in protein and in calcium.

Ingredients:-

Brown/White bread 6 slices
Tomatoes 2 chopped finely
Paneer 1/2 cup crushed
Onion 1 chopped finely
Butter unsalted 1 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Black pepper 1 tbsp
Roasted cumin powder 1tbsp


Method:-

Switch on the grill.
Mix paneer,salt,onions,tomatoes,turmeric powder,cumin powder and black pepper.
Apply little butter on one side of the bread slices.
Spread the filling on the buttered side of the bread slice and cover with another slice of the bread.
Keep the bread on the grill and grill on both the sides.
Serve with green chutney..

Simple Bread Sandwich




This sandwich is a street food here in Hyderabad and husband loves it.I was introduced to this sandwich by him,he brought it from a place where we used to eat when he was a kid,we all loved it.So this is my first attempt and it was good but not tasted like what he had brought.

Ingredients:-

Bread (white or brown) 6 slices
Tomatoes 2 sliced
Cucumber 1 peeled and sliced
Green chutney to spread on the slices
Sev
Onions finely chopped 2



How to make?

Green chutney

Mint leaves 2 cups

Coriander leaves 1 cup

Amchur powder 2 tbsp

Green chillies 3-4

Cumin seeds roasted 1 tbsp

Grind all the above ingredients for green chutney.Green chutney can be stored for long in fridge

Remove the sides of the bread.

Spread green chutney on a slice of bread.Then spread tomatoes and cucumber on top of each other.

Close it another slice of bread.On top of bread spread finely chopped onions and spread sev.

Eat immediately or else sev becomes soft.

Simple Tuna Sandwich

 

Ingredients:-

Brown Bread 8 slices
Canned Tuna Fish 1 can (drain water)
Butter to spread on the bread
Green chutney

Ingredients for green chutney
Coriander leaves 1 cup
Mint leaves 1/4 cup
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Amchur powder 1 tbsp
Green chillies 2
Salt as per taste

Grind all the above into smooth paste.This can be stored for a week in the refrigerator.

Method:-

Heat grill on high.
Spread green chutney on the bread (only one side)
Smash tune into bits.Spread tuna on the green chutney side of the bread.
Close the bread with another bread.(green chutney side should be inside)
Spread butter on the both the sides.And grill for 3 minutes on both the sides.
Cut and serve hot.
