Ingredients:-
Bobbarlu/Black Eyed Beans/Lobia- 1 1/2 cup
Onion- 1 chopped finely
Tomato- 2 chopped
Ginger Garlic Paste-1 tbsp
Coriander Powder- 1tsp
Red Chilly Powder- 3/4 tap
Green Chilies-2 slit vertically
Oil 3 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Masala paste for gravy:-
Fresh coconut 1/4cup
Cinnamon 1
Clove 2
Elachi 1
Make a fine paste of the above ingredients.
How to make:-
*Soak beans over night.
*Pressure cook it and drain the water,keep aside.
*Heat oil in kadai,add onions and green chillies and fry till transparent
*Add ginger garlic paste,saute till the paste is fried.
*Then add red chilly powder,coriander powder and salt.Saute for another 2-3 minutes
*Add coconut paste and cook till the paste leaves the sides of the pan.
*Then add cooked beans and mix carefully.
*Add water and chopped tomatoes and cook on a high flame for 2-3 minutes and reduce the flame and cook till the gravy thick.
Masala for Kurma looks simple but very flavorful. love Blackeyed peas, kurma looks super delicious! :)
